Power outage in Sylvania throwing a wrench into your routine? We’ve got you covered!

We know unexpected school closures make balancing work and childcare tough. The Sandbox is open, fully powered, and ready for drop-in play today!

Bring your laptops and work to-dos over to our cafe. You can plug into our high-speed Wi-Fi and stay productive while the kids burn off morning energy and dig into hands-on play.

ONE YEAR OF THE SANDBOX!

One year of digging. One year of playing. One year of birthdays, friendships, big imaginations and SO many memories made in the sand.

And we couldn’t have done any of it without YOU.

On October 4, we’re celebrating our first birthday with a FREE community day, our way of saying thank you to the families who have played, celebrated, gathered and grown with us throughout our very first year.

-And a chance to become a permanent piece of The Sandbox!

Throughout the day, families will help us create a community puzzle celebrating year one. Each piece will represent the people who have been part of our story, and when it’s complete, the puzzle will become a permanent fixture at The Sandbox, a reminder that this place was built not just for our community, but with our community.

There are a lot of ways to celebrate turning one.

We can’t think of a better one than spending it with the people who got us here.

This September, playtime at The Sandbox is giving back to families right here in our community!

From September 13–19, enjoy $1 OFF admission all week long, and a portion of admission proceeds will be donated to Heartbeat of Toledo, an organization supporting local women, babies and families.

It’s a simple way to make your playdate mean a little more.

Come dig, build, imagine and play while helping us show some love to our Toledo community.

Parents, when was the last time you had a date night without having to line up a babysitter?

On September 18 from 6–8 PM, drop the kids off at The Sandbox and go enjoy TWO whole hours to yourselves.

While you’re out, the kids will have their own night of fun with sandbox play, pizza and a craft — all included for $25 per child.

And you can head out knowing they’re in great hands. Our Sandbox team is led by education professionals who know how to keep kids safe, engaged and having a great time.

The Sandbox coffee bar is stocked with the cutest school-inspired sweets and treats, because the kids shouldn’t be the only ones having fun.
