Control room is very well soundproofed and my nodes are good. Now I'm working on room treatment. Here's how I do it (point the reference mic up). ARC, look at the curve and listen to music you know including your own. Move speakers according to what you see. ARC again. Keep going till you get you curve as straight as you can, make sure your listening point still sounds good. Then put on your monitor stand spikes and get them nice and level. Then call an acoustician lol. no really though. At least get some advice or you will ruin your room. If you're going to do it yourself, make a stragedy put up both sides and then test again. You will notice your monitors don't sound as good. Because you've just lost all that 80 to 120hz that was bouncing around and lying to you. What you have now is an Accurate monitor system. After i treat the room I allow the last little bit to be handled by room correction software. you get what you pay for there. sonorworx is OK, IK ARC is a little better, Trinnov is the king IMO
