Stained glass is an addicting art form, craft and profession. If you have wanted to learn stained glass, but don't know where to begin, come on out to the Toledo Stained Glass Guild. Whether you're a curious observer or are looking for a great community to practice stained glass with, you've come to the right place! The Toledo Stained Glass guild offers affordable classes for the beginner stained

glass artist. We have the equipment you need to complete your first project, so there's no need to be intimidated by the expensive costs of tools. Our membership is an annual fee of $50.00 (payments can be broken down into quarterly segments too) to cover our expenses as well as offering you fellowship, artistic development, participation in open houses, and more.

When? Our welcoming Toledo Stained Glass Guild meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at the Toledo Stained Glass guild, Building #12 on the grounds of The Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Drive, Toledo. We offer "Make and Take" three-hour classes on the first and third Saturdays from March through October. Advanced classes are scheduled on an "as needed" basis. Any person interested in stained glass whether a casual observer, a beginner, a professional glass artist, or a glass hobbyist. Each Wednesday you are invited to help with group projects while learning new skills from other members. It is an invaluable opportunity to learn from others with all levels of skill from the novice to the professional. Purpose:

-The education of its members and the public of stained glass as an art form.
-Donation of stained glass pieces to community service organizations.
-Development of the artistic and technical abilities of its members.

In early August, the Toledo Stained Glass Guild holds an open house in coordination with the other artist groups at Toledo Botanical Garden.
