Thursday, June 18, the Detroit Zoo will be closed to prepare for Sunset at the Zoo, our largest fundraising event of the year. We will reopen with normal hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Friday, June 19.

How cute!!

A sweet little girl celebrated her birthday with a Bluey-themed party. We thoroughly enjoyed creating this display. The addition of foil balloons elevated it to the next level. Balloon displays are not recommended for long-term outdoor use, as the balloons may oxidize or overinflate, leading to popping. Additionally, wind poses a significant risk, and even with weights, we experienced a couple of close calls.
