Auditions are in just a few days! This Sunday afternoon and Monday evening for The NW Ohio premiere of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill! Sign up!
This show requires powerful vocal stamina for all roles. Some advanced dance skills for ensemble roles including modern, interpretive, folk, urban, African etc., in addition to movement/combat. As well as “avatars” that dance as the lead character’s inner voices and expressions. So if that’s you? We Need You!
Audition Dates:
Sunday, April 26th 2:00-4:00pm (Principal/Supporting roles)
Monday, April 27th 6:30-9pm (Featured Dancer/Ensemble.)
Callbacks will be Saturday, May 2nd at 2pm.
(If called back, you must be present, there will be NO video callback submissions permitted)
*Wednesday evening April 29th may be used for an additional callback date for Principal roles if needed.
What to prepare: 16-32 bars of a rock/pop style song (can be upbeat or ballad) that best shows off your vocal stamina and range. It can also be from another musical in the same style as JLP.
Be prepared to move at all auditions! We are looking for a dynamic and diverse group of skilled dancers for the Featured Dancer/Avatar roles and ensemble. This is important for some of the younger principal roles as well. There are some adult roles (Principal and supporting) that focus more on powerful singing, acting and emotional storytelling.
If you’re a performer who can move an audience with honesty, vulnerability and depth then we would love to see you at auditions!

*Due to the nature and subject matter of this production- all those considering any of the principal/supporting roles must be 18+
If considering Featured Dancer/ensemble, 16+ is acceptable but a parental/guardian consent form must be signed if cast.
*Rehearsals will be Sunday late afternoon/early evenings, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We will be adding Thursday evenings beginning June 18th.
Please have minimal schedule conflicts as the rehearsal schedule requires excellent attendance!
*Show Dates are July 24th-August 2nd!
