Our Masterworks Chorale members have been busy having fun together outside of rehearsals this summer!

On Wednesday, August 12, six of us gathered for a private wood-sign making workshop at Board & Brush Creative Studio in Sylvania. We spent the evening creating custom wood projects, laughing, and eating delicious snacks.

Then on Saturday, August 15, members marched in the Toledo Pride Parade with our brand-new Masterworks Chorale banner, handing out flyers and spreading joy. It was a fun, family-friendly morning of celebrating community!

Love to sing? Masterworks Chorale of Toledo is holding auditions for new singers for our 2026-2027 season from August 25-27.

This past week saw a plethora of social events Masterworks Chorale members could participate in!

On Thursday, a group of singers met at Toledo Pickle Company for karaoke

On Friday, our very own Lisa Young sang with her jazz quartet The 4 of Us at Arlyn's in Bowling Green

Over the whole weekend, our long time intern Evvie Van Vorhis played Alice in 3B's production of The Addams Family the Musical

In addition, accompanist Kevin McGill and alto Caity Hoffman performed in Jagged Little Pill with Stone Production at the Collingwood Arts Center

And on Sunday, a group of members and family members/friends got together for hibachi dinner at Nagoya and a showing of Hadestown the musical at Cinemark!

It was a busy weekend of socializing and keeping in touch over our summer break!

Some of our members are performing in the Summer Choir for a Cause concert tonight, which is also in honor of Joy Ortyl, a member of Masterworks Choral who sadly passed away earlier this year. Admission is free and donations support The Victory Center.

Our concert, Lifted in Song, is in downtown Toledo at Trinity Episcopal Church at 4 pm today! Tickets are still available at the door. We look forward to singing for you in a few hours!

Free parking is available in the parking garage off of North St. Clair.

Come see us sing at Toledo Shares the Stage presented by Live Arts Toledo this Sunday, June 14th! This is a free concert opportunity that's open to the public (and anyone who can't make our June 13th concert).

If you've noticed a new rehearsal space in some of our videos, it's in the Live Arts Toledo building at 747 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH, where we'll also be performing Sunday. It's a great space. We'll see you there!
