Come From Away tells the incredible true story of what happened in Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following 9/11. It’s funny. It’s moving. The music is fantastic. And underneath it all is a story about what people are capable of when strangers suddenly need each other.

Now The TEN, Northwest Ohio Theatre Educators Network, is bringing it to the stage with students representing 12 area schools.

And they’re bringing the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away to life September 9–13 at Maumee Valley’s Millennium Theatre.

The Stranahan has a brand-new look, and we got an early peek before the doors opened.

Stage Door is inside the theater with Scott McGorty for a tour of the improvements, including 2,199 brand-new seats, new pit seating, new carpet and major accessibility upgrades throughout the main floor.

And TODAY, August 20, the Stranahan is officially celebrating with a ribbon cutting and open house.
