DID YOU MISS US? 🔥✨

These videos take us through the last three years of EmberIsland at the TRF Campgrounds. From our last year performing with fire to the LED shows that followed. You can see the crowd grow with us, and we’re so grateful to everyone who kept showing up.

EmberIsland has called the campgrounds home for seven years. It’s where so much of our community began and where the spark for Kaleidoscope Kingdom grew into a local entertainment company beyond TRF. No matter where we perform now, this place will always be part of our story.

We’re thrilled to be coming back this season! Thanks to our friends at Call of B***y, we’re taking over the stage for a full Halloween show:

Kaleidoscope Kingdom is bringing EmberIsland back to the TRF campgrounds for ONE NIGHT ONLY this season, so don’t miss your chance to experience the lights, the sound, and an incredible lineup of talented performers!

We’ve been given the (FULL TAKEOVER) All Hallows Weekend, and we’re ready to do this spooky season RIGHT. Expect wild energy, immersive entertainment, LED flow, aerial performances, killer DJs, and plenty of surprises waiting in the darkness. 💀

A HUGE thank-you to The Call of B***y (COB) for supporting us year after year. And for the honor, trust, and full creative freedom to do what we love and bring a damn good show to one of my absolute favorite holidays. We couldn’t be more excited to create this night with you!

This past weekend at TRF was truly heart-warming. Thank you to everyone who came out to EmberIsland, supported the show, and shared space with us. Even with so many of our sister groups not out this season, the love, the laughter, and the energy reminded us why this community is so powerful.

Kaleidoscope Kingdom has been gathering all the clans, crews, and creatives who normally light up the campground—bringing everyone together here in Houston for a small private arts & expression festival we’re building called Kink in Color.

This isn’t just a kink event.
It’s a collaboration of Houston’s hottest talent across performance, flow arts, music, visual art, body art, and alternative expression. A weekend of creativity, community, and pure mind-melt magic.

In collaboration with Strangetrip Productions, EmberIsland, Heathen Haven, Naughtyham, and even more of the friends and family who make this community what it is. We’re creating a space where everyone can come together again, reconnect, perform, play, and celebrate what we all bring to the table.

If you enjoyed this past weekend with us at EmberIsland, we’d love to see you again December 12–14th.

This weekend we’re bringing everyone together for two flow-friendly gatherings as we storm TRF with nothing but good energy, LED glow, and family vibes.
No fire at TRF this season, so bring your LEDs and your best Barbarian spirit.

✨ Thursday Night – Rite of River & Flame
We’ll start with a small burn by the river before we caravan in. Come swim, relax, spin, and share space under the stars. Bring chairs, fuel, and your fire props if you want to burn before TRF. Camping is available for anyone who wants to stay.

✨ Friday–Saturday – Barbarian Weekend at TRF
We’re setting up camp, the LED dome, barricades, and flow space.
Expect:
• Sound bath + meditation
• LED mob
• Live DJs & late-night drums
• Community dinner gathering so nobody has to cook or haul supplies
• Camping with our friends, sister guilds, and all the people who make this season magical

Sunday morning we unwind with a final sound bath, brunch, and teardown.

🌟 Please fill out the camping RSVP form so we can plan space and parking.
🌟 Dinner plates are available for pre-purchase so we can feed everyone without stress.

We’re grateful for every single person showing up, helping build, flowing, drumming, spinning light, holding space, and keeping the heart of our community alive even through changes.

A Moment of Reflection – The Fire Still Burns Bright

This season marks a turning point for Ember Island. After years of pouring our hearts into the Texas Renaissance Festival, we’ve decided it’s time to step back from the fight. We’ve stood our ground with love, dedication, and the belief that fire brings people together — and it always has.

Over the past eight years, we’ve shared something truly special: nights filled with laughter, art, passion, and community. Together, we built more than a fire show — we built a family. And that spirit doesn’t disappear just because the flames aren’t burning this season.

While TRF management moves forward with their plans, we’re choosing to move forward with peace. No hard feelings, no negativity — just gratitude. We’re proud of the memories, the magic, and the mark we’ve made. The truth is, you can’t extinguish what lives in people’s hearts.

Our space will still be open for those who want to gather, share stories, flow with LED, and celebrate the bond that started it all. Fire Lord and the crew are already working on something beautiful for Barbarian Weekend — a reminder that our light doesn’t depend on permission, only on passion.

We’ll continue to grow, perform, and create — just in new ways, in new places, with the same soul. The opportunities that have come our way because of this journey are proof that every spark leads somewhere brighter.

To everyone who’s supported us through every flame, every challenge, every show — thank you. We see you, we love you, and we’re not going anywhere. The fire just evolves.
