As we count down the days until it's time to open the gates for the 52nd annual Texas Renaissance Festival, it's good to remember that when purchasing tickets, you should ALWAYS use https://www.texrenfest.com/p/tickets for a safe and secure purchase. As you can see in these photos, unauthorized third party vendors can charge well over the actual ticket price, and may not even be real or valid tickets.

As our purchase policy states, "Purchase of tickets through unauthorized third parties is not permitted and carries a risk of fraud; such tickets are not guaranteed to be authentic and will not be honored if deemed invalid. All Aboard the Rennie Rider!

Hear ye, hear ye! The Austin Steam Train Association invites you to step back aboard our second annual Rennie Rider! This Renaissance Faire-themed train ride journey filled with merriment, mead, and medieval fun, combines the magic of the faire with the charm of vintage railroading.

This 3-hour adventure follows the Bertram Flyer route, beginning at the Cedar Park Depot and traveling through the Texas Hill Country aboard beautifully restored vintage railcars from the 1930s–1950s, pulled by a historic diesel locomotive.

His Majesty, the King, was delighted to bring along a few dedicated and loyal subjects this past Sunday to the Bike MS: ACC Texas MS 150 which brought together more than 4,000 cyclists all riding toward a world free of MS!

They spent the morning at the finish line handing out finishing medals and congratulating riders for their amazing accomplishment. Huzzah!

Morning meetings, pre-show run-throughs, rehearsals, camp… all of it will feel a little dimmer without you.

As Master of Arms, you were the heartbeat of the arena for so many years - the ringmaster who brought the performance company and the joust together to create something truly unforgettable. Backstage, you were more than a leader - you were a genuine friend to so many of us and our families. Whether someone was brand new or a seasoned performer, you welcomed everyone with the same warmth and open arms.

All of us who had the privilege of knowing and working with you at the Texas Renaissance Festival are deeply saddened by your untimely passing. Your spirit will forever be part of every show day, every cheer of the crowd, every moment we share.

Sending our love and condolences to Jessica, Jerry John, Raistlin, and all who loved you.
