‼️NEW PRODUCT ALERT‼️
White Tulip Naturals Dishwasher Powder
Have you ever wondered what your dishwasher detergent actually needs to do?
If you’ve been following White Tulip Naturals for a while, you know I love researching ingredients. Before I create any new product, I spend a lot of time learning what each ingredient does, why it’s used, and whether it truly belongs in the final formula.
Creating my Dishwasher Powder was no different.
A dishwasher detergent has three important jobs: remove grease and food residue, soften the water to help prevent mineral film, and rinse away cleanly. A good formula needs to do all three.
That simple idea guided every decision I made while developing this product.
Every ingredient in this formula was selected because it contributes to cleaning performance—nothing more, nothing less.
Just as importantly, you’ll notice what’s not in it.
**No Added Fragrance
**No Added Dyes
**No Phosphates
Years ago, phosphates were a common ingredient in dishwasher detergents because they’re excellent at softening water and boosting cleaning performance. The downside is that when they enter rivers and lakes, they can contribute to excessive algae growth, reducing oxygen in the water and negatively affecting fish and other aquatic life. Choosing a phosphate-free formula is one small way we can all help reduce that impact.
Another thing I learned while developing this product is that one of the biggest secrets to sparkling dishes isn’t actually the detergent—it’s the rinse aid. Many people, myself included, use plain white vinegar in the dishwasher’s rinse aid compartment because it can help reduce spotting and mineral film, especially if you have hard water.
I don’t create products simply to fill a shelf. I create products with purpose using simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, each selected for a specific purpose. I believe understanding what we bring into our homes is just as important as understanding what we put on our bodies.
I hope you’ll love this new Dishwasher Powder as much as I loved creating it.
