🎨🦉 CREATIVE KIDS ART WORKSHOP! 🦉🎨
Grab your paintbrushes and get ready to get creative! 💕 Join us at Studio Life Art on Sunday the 27th at 12:00 PM for a fun afternoon of painting, creativity, and making memories! Our young artists will create this adorable “Owl Be Wise” painting while learning, laughing, and putting their own creative spin on their masterpiece. 🎨✨
The best part?! This workshop is FREE for all Studio Life Performing Art students currently enrolled in a monthly program! 💛 We also want you to bring your favorite people along! Friends, siblings, cousins, parents, and family members are all welcome to join us. Pricing is $20 per child and $25 per adult. No need to be an experienced artist—we’re all about having fun, getting a little messy, and creating something you’ll be proud to take home!

Y’all really showed up and showed out!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined me for our Boots & Brushes Paint & Dance Night! From paint brushes in our hands to boots on the dance floor, we painted, laughed, danced, and maybe even learned a new move or two. 😂👢🎨
It was so nice seeing everyone kick back and have fun! There’s just something about good music, great people, a little country dancing, and getting creative that makes for the perfect night!
Thank you for always supporting Studio Life and making these nights so much fun. 🖤💛 And if you missed this one… don’t hang up those cowboy boots just yet. 😉

📣 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🎨🩰

We’ll be accepting applications from now through SEPTEMBER 10TH for Studio Life’s “ART for LIFE” SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM! 💛

At Studio Life, we believe every young person should have access to high-quality dance and art education, regardless of their financial situation. Since 2017, Studio Life has proudly provided 14 full-semester scholarships and 6 half scholarships, totaling $12,150 in tuition assistance, to students who have shown exceptional passion, dedication, and work ethic.

Our Love for Art 🎨 and Love for Dance 🩰 scholarships give young artists and dancers the opportunity to tell us about themselves, what art or dance means to them, and where they dream of taking their talents in the future. Applicants will also have the chance to get creative and show us how art or dance makes them feel through a medium of their choice.

🏆 Scholarship winners will be announced September 12th during our Family Fun Awards Night from 4:00–6:00 PM!

If your child loves to create, dance, learn, and work hard, we encourage them to apply! Email us or give us a call for an application and more information.

As our summer art camp comes to an end, I find myself thinking about the incredible time we had together. This year is my 11th year offering camps, and each one has been a unique experience filled with creativity, learning, and growth. When I first opened the studio and decided to offer a full week of art camp, I must admit I was a bit nervous. I wondered how I would keep the attention and focus of students a full day, every day. 😅
Initially, I planned an abundance of projects, thinking that keeping everyone busy would prevent boredom. I even found myself finishing some projects at home after camp. 😬 However, over time, I realized the importance of balance and structure in creating a fun and peaceful atmosphere—a space where students can truly enjoy themselves.
Throughout the week, we balance our art projects with activities that let us soar high, like in our aerial hammocks, or play a game or two like "Night at the Museum" or "Freeze Dance." Through this, I learned a valuable life lesson: we can overload ourselves with busywork, or we can approach it with a mindset that sees it as an accomplishment, something to be proud of, whether or not we enjoy every task. This balance allows us to live, have fun, and enjoy ourselves while completing our projects.
Tonight during our art show, students shared their favorite art projects, and interestingly, it was not the easiest or quickest ones they like most. It was the projects that took the longest, the ones that required patience, creativity, and problem-solving. These were the projects where they had to explore different techniques to get it just right. This is exactly why I love what I do. I am so thankful for the opportunity to share, help, and explore with all my students from the littles to the grannys...lol, because I, too, am still learning and have gained so much from you all.
We can be silly and playful along with our "busywork" and feel accomplished all at the same time. In the end, TIME ⌛️is what you make of it, right? Thank you and big hugs to all my students and parents who trust me with your child's art and movement education. I can't wait to see you all again soon...🤗 💛
