Tuesdays both piercers will be unavailable for summer hours.
Sookie will be out of town for three weeks and unavailable for piercing appointments until June 22nd. If you’d like to secure a last-minute appointment before her departure, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I swear I get this message at least once a week
“I’m cleaning it five times a day, I added witch hazel, I read tea tree oil helps… why is it so red??”

And I’m just sitting there like… oh no 😅

I get it. You think you’re helping. But you’re actually doing way too much.

Healing a piercing is not a full-time job. You don’t need a routine with five different products.

A simple rinse in the shower, maybe a couple spritzes of saline, pat it dry… and then leave it the hell alone.

Stop touching it.
Stop bending it to look at the back.
Stop checking it every five minutes.

The more you mess with it, the longer it’s going to stay irritated.

Less really is more here🩷

Ask your piercer what material they’re using.

If they can’t give you a clear answer… or they just say “surgical steel” and leave it at that… I’d be side-eyeing it.

You deserve to know exactly what’s going in your body. Not a vague, catch-all term.

A good piercer will confidently tell you the material and why they’re using it.

If they can’t explain it, that’s your sign to ask more questions or reconsider🩷
