Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I spent a lot of time outdoors which taught me the appreciation f

or nature and God’s creations. Having worked with a professional photographer for many years, I was able to get a lot of hands on training which helped get me started in my passion for capturing these beautiful images on film. Working with film was truly exciting, and I feel lucky to have been involved in photography during this period of time. It really made me have to learn how the camera works and not just how to push a button. I worked many years with a medium format Pentax which gave me the ability to create and print large images. I wasn’t too convinced at first about the digital age, but now after using it for quite a few years I have seen the benefits and the ability to deliver what I am looking for in my photography. Living in Florida now for over 25 years I have made it my mission to search for beautiful images that you just can’t find anywhere else. Being drawn to the ocean and rivers, cypress and palms, Florida truly is a photographers paradise and I am proud to call it home. My wife Heidi and I own and operate an art gallery and frame shop in Historic Downtown Titusville. With the support from our loyal customers, friends and

Art in Public Places at its best!
Today we visited our Community Credit Union branch and couldn't help but notice the beautiful photographs by Jeff Thamert . Jeff Thamert is the official photographer for every Community Credit Union Branch in Brevard, and the owner of the flourishing The Downtown Art Gallery in Titusville.
