We are thrilled to officially announce the Stage Director for our upcoming production of Titanic the Musical: In Concert—a familiar face who is certainly no stranger to the Titusville Summer Theater family, Bill Stumpf! 👏

Bill brings a wealth of experience, vision, and dedication to the table, and we could not be more excited to have him at the helm of our creative team. Join us in giving a warm welcome to Bill! Check out his bio below to learn more about his background in local theater:

Bill Stumpf is no stranger when it comes to Titusville Summer Theater productions. Since his first role as Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof “ in 1998, Summer Theater has been a major part of Bill's life. Known for his humor and storytelling ability, Bill has performed in 18 TST musicals, portraying a variety of characters from the Captain of the “Titanic”, to Pontius Pilate in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, to a talking apple tree in “The Wizard of Oz”. His most recent stage roles were Andrew Carnes in “Oklahoma” and Papa Ogre in “Shrek”. He has also had the great fortune to have been part of Summer Theater's classic radio productions of “The Great Gatsby”, “Alibis”, The Thirty-Nine Steps”, and (most recently!) Long John Silver in “Treasure Island”.

This year Bill makes his “maiden voyage” into uncharted waters for him as he takes the helm as Stage Director for the production of “Titanic, the Musical; in Concert”. Bill invites all to join with him to once again sail on that Great Ship, the Titanic.

Auditions for "Titanic the Musical: In Concert" will be held Saturday, September 26th beginning at 1 PM and running until 4 PM at Rocsato Conservatory of Music (701 North Perry St). Auditions for "Titanic the Musical: In Concert" are officially set! 🌊

We’re holding auditions on Saturday, September 26th from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Rocsato Conservatory of Music.

Audition Info:
- Who: Open to all performers ages 13+
- What to bring: Prepare 32 bars (roughly 1.5 minutes) of a song of your choice; an accompanist will be provided. Please also bring your calendar so you can list any rehearsal conflicts.

Because this is a concert version, performers will use scripts/librettos on stage, which means a significantly lighter rehearsal schedule than our summer show. Casting will be focused almost entirely on vocal fit rather than age, physical type, or dance ability.

With over 40 characters in the piece, actors will very likely take on multiple roles. We need at least 12 men and 6 women to make this score happen, so please share this with any singers you know!

It is with deeply heavy hearts that our Titusville Summer Theater family says goodbye to one of our truest pillars, greatest protectors, and dearest lifelong friends, Gloria Taylor.

Gloria’s journey with TST began over four decades ago, making her stage debut in “Barnum” in 1983. Over the years, she became the very heartbeat of our organization—performing in 24 productions, serving on the production staff for 16 shows, dedicating countless hours on and off-season, and passionately guiding TST on our Board of Directors.

To know Gloria was to admire her—and to know you had someone fiercely in your corner. She was wonderfully hilarious, frightfully quick-witted, and possessed a larger-than-life voice that could effortlessly fill an auditorium (and keep everyone in line!). Whether luring sailors to a special island as Bloody Mary in “South Pacific”, climbing every mountain as Mother Superior in “The Sound of Music”, bringing the house down as Miss Hannigan in “Annie”, making magic happen backstage, or graciously taking generations of performers under her wing, Gloria poured her entire soul into our TST family.

She believed fiercely in our community, in the joy and wonder of the stage, and in the enduring familial bonds forged in local theater. Her warmth, booming laugh, and unmistakable spirit helped shape the very foundation of TST.

As we celebrate Gloria's extraordinary life, we send our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to her family, loved ones, and everyone whose life was touched by her unforgettable light.

Rest in peace, Gloria—thank you for everything.

It's officially time to launch our next Titusville Summer Theater voyage! 🚢

If you watched "The Secret Garden" earlier this summer, you might have seen us *soft launch* this upcoming production—but today, we are thrilled to make it social media official.

"Titanic the Musical" features the timeless, sweeping score by Maury Yeston, and this special concert production focuses entirely on the grand orchestrations and the vocal power needed to tell this epic story of hope, tragedy, and memory.
