🐴 Howdy Tipton County Rodeo Fans!
We figured it’s about time we properly introduced ourselves.
We’re the Kantering Kids Horse & Pony Club — the oldest 4-H program in Tipton County and proud to be part of 4-H, the largest youth development organization in the country. 🍀
Our club is run by awesome volunteers who love helping kids grow into confident, capable, and caring people. 💚
Sure, we spend a lot of time with horses and ponies (and yes, they’re adorable 🐎), but it’s about so much more than riding. Our members learn patience while grooming, time management when juggling school and shows, communication skills during team projects, and leadership by stepping up and taking responsibility.
💡And here’s something cool — research shows 4-H members are:
• 4x more likely to make a positive difference in their communities
• 3x more likely to feel confident in their abilities
• 2x more likely to dive into science programs
• 2x more likely to make healthy choices and feel good about themselves
At the end of the day, we’re a place where kids can learn, grow, and have a whole lot of fun — all while making friends (both two-legged and four-legged).
So… what’s your favorite memory with a horse or pony? Drop it in the comments — we’d love to hear! 🐴✨
