Fourth Wall Improv Fourth Wall Improv is an improv troupe based out of Tinley Park, IL, and we perform at the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center year round.

This is an announcement that’s been put off as it is a painful one. We at Fourth Wall Improv are here to entertain you, make you laugh, and show you a good time. Theater is art. The stage is the canvas. Those last comments are clichés for sure, but when the stage you have is no longer a place where people feel comfortable or supported, it’s a not a great situation to be in.

It is why we made the tough decision to discontinue our relationship with the Tinley Park - Park District and will no longer perform at the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center. Giving up our home for so many years is heartbreaking and has left us with an unknown future.

On a brighter note, in addition to all proceeds from our December event, we made the decision of donating our profits from that last two events prior to that as well to The Genesis Therapy Center. If you are someone in the Chicagoland area that needs an affordable resource for mental wellness, please reach out to them.

We want to hope we at least did some good during our time here.

If you ever attended a show or donated to various causes we supported, THANK YOU. Thanks also to the Village of Tinley Park Illinois Government for having us. Thank you to the support we received from media outlets such as Tinley Park Progress, and Daily Southtown/Chicago Tribune.

Value your artists. Remember they are being vulnerable in expression. We don’t do it because of an affinity for money or business. We do it out of a love of life.

We are pleased to announce that for all profits from both nights of “Always Hooked on the Holidays,” our troupe will be donating that amount in full to The Genesis Therapy Center!

Please check them out, especially if you are in the Chicagoland area. That are an excellent resource. They offer their “Community Care Program, which provides services (on a sliding fee scale) to those in the communities we serve who have limited income and limited ability to pay.”

Come out, we’ll make you laugh, and we’ll all do some good in the process.

I shared this video a few days ago on my social media and thought about whether or not to record a different,less personal version for our troupe page.
