That is what the Savina Hartwell Memorial Bandstand is. Founded in 1992, by Alan Hartwell, (Tilton) in loving memory of his late-wife Savina. Savina performed Classic Jazz in upscale dinner clubs in Manhattan for such names as
Frank Sinatra and was a favorite of the late Duke Ellington who endorsed her album
"Savina & All That Gentle Jazz inthe early 1970's.
