Twenty years ago was the first Dahlia Fest I had . I was 31 years old and full of energy and determination . I had 40 varieties and only 5 plants of each . That weekend I made $1200 . I was excited and wanted to make this the only thing I did for a living . Farming the dahlia plant , my grandpa was a farmer and I wanted to get back to the roots of that side of the family . The house I started my business with was old so you can see where I got the name . Here a picture from 2008 I think , at my little corner lot in the city .

Fresh cut flowers available and potted dahlias ready to bloom to take home . If ya just want to stop by to check them out we have over two acres to stroll thru .

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS

We are planning to open up this weekend August 22nd and 23rd 10-5pm for dahlia tuber pre-orders . We should be half way in bloom by the weekend but blooming will flush by early September . We will be open every weekend till the end of october .This is a good opportunity to get those dahlias that you can't get online because they sell out in hours.WE ARE NOT TAKING PHONE ORDERS OR ONLINE ORDERS TILL FEBRUARY 1st OF 2027 . Farm stand open during the week where you can purchase fresh cut flowers and potted dahlias (CASH ONLY )

Old House Dahlia looking for seasonal employees. This job will begin mid to late August and run till mid October depending on frost. The pay rate is $16.per hour Sunday's and Thursday workdays , we start working at sun up .
This job includes cutting flowers , making bouquets and some weeding around the farm . This is a 2 month commitment! If you love flowers and farming and want to learn more or just need some good seasonal work please apply. We also provide shared housing and utilities! The farm is perfectly located in the beautiful pacific northwest 10 mi from the beautiful Oregon coast, fishing and hiking.

CANBY MASTER GARDEN SHOW

We will be at the Canby Master Garden Show this weekend the 2nd and 3rd of May located in Canby Oregon . We will have dahlia clumps for sale, one for $8 or two for $12 . This is a great show to attend and the weather looks great . Hope to see some faces I have not seen for awhile .

We are having a dahlia clump sale this weekend 11TH -12TH Sat. -Sun. 10-5pm. These are un- divided dahlia clumps and a lot of them to choose from . One for $8 or two for $12 .THIS SALE IS ONLY AT THE FARM SO YOU HAVE TO BE HERE IN PERSON TO BUY THEM . We are not shipping them or taking phone orders .
