Broadway Rose Theatre Company exists to create unparalleled musical theatre experiences that invigorate audiences and enrich our communities. The company presents six mainstage shows, two children’s theater productions, and a teen workshop production each year, as well as special events. Broadway Rose is grateful to have an extraordinary team of volunteers who give their time, talent, and enthusiasm to help make each season a success. From ushering audiences into the theater to assisting with fundraising and administrative tasks, volunteers have played an essential role in the company’s history.

In 2025 alone, more than 300 volunteers contributed over 3,725 hours to Broadway Rose. Their work may happen in the lobby, behind the scenes, or in a meeting room, but the impact is felt throughout the organization.

For three and a half decades, these generous community members have helped Broadway Rose welcome audiences, support artists, and create memorable theatre experiences. We are deeply grateful for the thousands of people who have volunteered their time over the years and helped make Broadway Rose the community it is today.

For 35 years, Broadway Rose has been fortunate to work with an extraordinary roster of directors who have brought imagination, artistry, and heart to our stages. Each has left a distinctive mark on the company, helping shape the productions and experiences that have become part of the Broadway Rose story.

As the company’s founders, Sharon Maroney and Dan Murphy have taken on the challenge of directing countless Broadway Rose productions, bringing together the many production elements to create something greater than the sum of its parts. In addition, musicals have come to life over the years under the guidance of exceptional directors including Peggy Taphorn, Lyn Cramer, Abe Reybold, Isaac Lamb, Chan Harris, and many more.

From classic musicals to contemporary works, these directors have challenged artists, delighted audiences, and helped Broadway Rose evolve. We are grateful to every one of them for sharing their talent, humor, and imagination, and for helping make Broadway Rose what it is today.

Each year at our fundraising Gala, guests have the opportunity to purchase special, behind-the-scenes experiences at a Broadway Rose mainstage show! This year, donors had opportunities to experience "Newsies" from the orchestra pit or be featured in a Walk-On role.
