🎓✨ Graduation Weekend is here. ✨🎓

For years, these dancers have called FUDA home. They’ve grown, performed, dreamed big, and left their mark on our studio in ways we’ll never forget. Today, we celebrate the FUDA Class of 2026.

We’ve watched them grow from little dancers peeking through studio windows to confident leaders taking center stage. They’ve inspired us with their dedication, supported their teammates, and helped shape the heart of our FUDA family.

As they walk across the graduation stage this weekend, we hope they know just how proud we are of all they’ve accomplished—and how excited we are for all that lies ahead.

The tassels were worth the hassle. The future is bright. And their story is only beginning.

Congratulations, FUDA Class of 2026. No matter where life takes you next, you’ll always be part of the FUDA family. 💙

Once FUDA Fam, Always FUDA Fam.

FUDA class of 2026🎓💙ichikawa

I’ve been dancing at FUDA for 1 year, and I will be studying International Relations (Global Business) at the University of Southern California in the fall.

My favorite memory is coming off the stage after competing my solo and getting to hug everyone :)

Dancing at FUDA taught me to never take anything for granted and what a privilege it is to be able to dance and grow with the people I love most.

What I will miss the most is the amazing people and the respect and love they show each other every day.

Thank you to all of the teachers for teaching me how to truly love dance and creating such a welcoming and supportive community I was able to call my second home 🥹🤍

I’ve been dancing at fired up for 5 years!

I am graduating from Tigard High School. Next year I will be going to New York University majoring in Production & Design with a scenic design emphasis and minoring in Entertainment business

One of the most memorable Fuda memories is Miss Devrie’s crunch routine

A lesson that I have learned from dance is that you don’t have to be perfect at every interest you have.

One fun fact about me is that I’ve won multiple awards for technical theater!

FUDA class of 2026🎓💙dances

I have been dancing at FUDA for 12 years, and next year I plan to attend the University of California, San Diego, and major in pharmacological chemistry.

A piece of advice I’d give to younger dancers is to never be afraid of taking risks and putting yourself out there. Confidence is key!

A lesson dance has taught me is that success is only what you define it to be, and that it’s truly about the journey, not just the destination.

One of my favorite performances was competing “No Diggity” for the first time at NYCDA back in 2022. This group truly made an impact on me, and I remember being so excited to dance with the older girls and be a part of one of Ms. Devrie’s hip-hop routines!

I have so many favorite FUDA traditions, but one that stands out was the annual Oaks Park performance and BBQ to kick off the season!

I think what I’ll miss the most is being able to do my favorite thing in my favorite place with my favorite people every day.

Thank you to every teacher I’ve had the opportunity to learn from because of FUDA. Especially, thank you to Miss Ashley and Miss Carene for everything you contributed to my dance journey, from pushing me, to providing opportunities, and endlessly supporting me, you’ve both made an impact on who I am today. Thank you to my parents for funding and encouraging me to dance, and thank you to my teammates who never fail to inspire me or make me smile. I honestly can’t imagine my life without FUDA or dance in general, and for that, I’m forever grateful. Thank you!

I’ve been dancing at Fired-Up for over 10 years.

Next year I will be attending Oregon State University and majoring in Kinesiology.

My favorite memory here is being a team captain after years of having the most amazing captains to live up to.

I am forever grateful to call FUDA home and this place has taught me that everything is figure-outable. I will miss the excitement of having a new buddy each season but I hope the love for buddies carries on. Thank you everyone at FUDA for making this place so special and filled with love.đź©·

FUDA class of 2026🎓💙haslam

Hi, my name is Mailie Haslam. I have been dancing at Fired-Up for 10 years. Next year I am headed to Provo, Utah attending Brigham Young University (BYU) majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Contemporary Dance.

I have so many FUDA memories but one of my favorites has to be Fired-Up Nutcracker weeks. It is truly a magical week.

One piece of advice I would pass onto a younger dancer is to always find the positive and to never give up. When things get hard that is when you grow. If you give up when things get hard you will never find out how far you can go.

I think my favorite performance was the last showing of our 2025 Nutcracker. It was truly a magical night and to see it all come together one last time filled my heart with so much love for their people around me and the gift we have of dance.

I think my favorite tradition has got to be the last song of the Tigard Homecoming Parade. As we round the corner we sing Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood. It is such a fun moment where we g*t to just have fun and be all together. I remember being a mini and seeing the older girls sing their hearts out, and it is crazy how quickly I have grown into that position.

I will miss all the people I get to spend my time with. I will miss my amazing teachers that not only teach me about dance but also about life. I will miss my teammates who support me and inspire me to be better than before. Most of all I will miss seeing my FUDA family every day. Though I know the walls of the studio will always be a home to me, I will miss this being such a large part of my every day life.

FUDA class of 2026 🎓💙

I’ve been dancing at FUDA since I was 2!

Next year I plan to attend Boise State University’s Honors College to study kinesiology.

My favorite memory with Fired Up is this year’s Vibe Attack Week! It was so exciting to hear all of our songs for the first time and start choreography!

One of my favorite performances was Ellie’s jazz routine for recital 2024 to “All That Jazz”, everything about it was so much fun and I loved getting to dance in heels!

My advice to every dancer is to not compare yourself to others. Everybody moves at their own pace and has their own journey with dance, remember that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Also remember to be proud of yourself! What we do is so cool and complex, it’s important to acknowledge how impressive it is to be a dancer.

I genuinely don’t think that I will ever be able to fully express my gratitude to Fired Up. You’ve shaped me into who I am. I am so thankful for the faculty and dancers, who have created such a safe space where I can do what I love every day. Miss Carene and Miss Ashley, you are my biggest inspirations, and I thank you for your guidance, passion, unconditional love, and the incredible dance family that you have created. I also thank my family for supporting my dance journey, I love you!

FUDA class of 2026 🎓💙westfall

I’ve been dancing at FUDA since I was 2 years old and competing for the last 9 years. Next year, I’ll be attending the University of Oregon to study Business with a minor in Dance.

Some of my favorite memories include watching my sister and her friends through the studio windows before I was old enough to join Dance Co, and cheering on our teammates from the hotel pool at Velocity Phoenix. One performance that will always hold a special place in my heart was “Rescue,” when I got to share the stage with my sister one last time before she graduated.

One of my favorite FUDA traditions is VIBE Attack Week. I love getting to see all the routines come to life and watching our team grow together from day one.

What I’ll miss most is the people. After spending more than a decade with this dance family, it’s hard to imagine not seeing everyone every day. FUDA has given me friendships, memories, and mentors that I’ll carry with me forever.

A huge thank you to Miss Carene and Miss Ashley for believing in me, supporting me, and helping shape the person I am today. I’ll always be grateful, and I’ll always be FUDA Fam Forever.
