Discover your Vocal Potential by investing in the power of the performing arts. Join Heidelberg faculty and students for a 5-day workshop dedicated to building your vocal artistry and confidence as a performer. Explore vocal ensembles in a variety of sizes and musical styles. Participate in voice lessons dedicated to exploring a healthy vocal technique. Perform in daily masterclasses and receive personalized feedback to assist with your vocal journey. Engage in interactive pre-professional sessions on auditioning, acting for singing, stage movement, and singing in foreign languages.

AND PUT IT ALL TOGETHER with a fully-staged and costumed performance of CommUNITY: A Musical R***e.

We have an event filled weekend here in the School of Music & Theatre! We kick off this weekend with our Make- A- Scene improv troupe’s performance TOMORROW NIGHT at 10:30pm! You won’t want to miss this hilarious group tackle improv games, audience participation, and more. On Saturday 4/29 we have one of our amazing seniors, Gretta Griesbach’s, senior honors performance. Me, Myself, and I tells the story of how mental health can take a toll on someone and how to persevere alongside mental illness. On Sunday 4/30 we have 2 amazing groups taking the stage! Studio 2 Stage is happy to perform their spring concert, Dreaming of Jazz at 2pm AND 7pm. Dreaming of Jazz is a cabaret style concert that tells the history and beloved story of jazz. And to close out our event filled weekend we have the amazing show, I Have a Voice. I Have a Voice is presented by Writers in Residence and Tiffin 4 Peace. I Have a Voice speaks the truth and original stories written by incarcerated youth. Tickets are not required for any of these events. We hope to see you there!

We are SO EXCITED to present Me, Myself, and I performed by one of our amazing seniors, Gretta Griesbach THIS SATURDAY at 2pm.

Me, Myself and I is written, directed and performed by Gretta Griesbach. It tells the story of my struggles with anxiety and depression and how they have affected my everyday life. This show follows me from a young child to an adult and how I have had to combat my mental illnesses as well as that annoying 'voice inside my head.' Me, Myself and I brings to light the struggles of high functioning anxiety, agoraphobia, OCD, and depression. Within the show, there are personal stories, monologues and songs that represent my mental health and my experiences with different treatments and coping mechanisms. This show conveys that not everything is what it seems and even the strongest people can be suffering.
