Meet the cast!

MJ (Maryjane) Pinney as Reba Harper!

A retired Centreville Junior High teacher, MJ’s GRANDdaughter, Kate Wilen (singer, actor, director), encouraged her to perform in TRCP Senior Readers Theatre. She did… The War of the Worlds, A Christmas Carol, Belles, Vintage Hitchcock and now with the talented cast in A Bad Year for Tomatoes…all with NO memorizing.

When not enjoying theatre, MJ enjoys golfing, playing Mah Jong, reading, sewing Comfort Masks and creating notecards with her photography skills.

MJ feels blessed to have the support of her husband of 61 years and her family and friends. She feels the area is so fortunate to have such a professional theatre right here in Three Rivers and hopes for strong support for TRCP to continue and grow. God bless us, every one!

Meet the cast of A Bad Year for Tomatoes!

Greg Jankowski is making his acting debut at Three Rivers Community Theatre as Tom Lamont!

A graduate of WMU, Greg started his stage career on the Soupy Sales Telethon where he played Ed McMahon in a Tonight Show parody — it did not go well.

Living in the Chicago suburb Glen Ellyn for 30 years, Greg returned to TV on a Jonathon Brandmeir TV special — that ended his TV stage career.

Greg’s paying career was working in TV advertising sales in Chicago until he retired in 2014.

He and his wife Lynne then moved to Lake Templene to enjoy lake life and golf. They have 3 married children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 grand dogs.

Greg has been enjoying the Live Theatre experience, especially the rehearsals.

Dolly Parton and Tim Curry helped bridge the gap between film and live theatre, creating characters, music, and stories that never belonged to just one stage. Their iconic performances have been rewatched and reimagined countless times, even by our very own Three Rivers Community Players.

While these two legends have moved on, their legacies will continue to entertain the world for generations to come, on screen and on stage. Thank you.
