🇺🇸 Something BIG is rolling into Three Forks! 🇺🇸

On Sunday, August 2, approximately 50 restored historic military vehicles will arrive in Three Forks as part of the 2026 Lewis & Clark Westward Convoy! They'll be staying at the Three Forks Rodeo Grounds before continuing their journey on Tuesday, August 4.

*Estimated arrival: 5:30 PM on Sunday, August 2.

Don't miss the chance to watch the convoy travel down Main Street as these incredible historic vehicles make their way into town! Then head over to the Rodeo Grounds to see the vehicles up close and meet the convoy participants.

This is a unique opportunity to experience a piece of living history right here in Three Forks. Bring your family, your camera, and help us give these travelers a warm Three Forks welcome!

Friday nights are our "Family Night" where kids get in free with a non-perishable donation to the local food bank. This past Friday the food bank staff worked the front and back gates and exchanged kiddos their food donation for an entry ticket and tallied 167 pounds of food and $60 in cash!

Thank you all for your participation in this wonderful collaboration we've had over the years to help our local community!

Like our post the other day said, "Behind every successful rodeo is an army of volunteers. From parking cars and selling tickets to working concessions, preparing the grounds, and helping contestants and fans throughout the weekend, dozens of people generously donate their time to make the Three Forks Rodeo possible."

We spend a several weeks prior to the event reaching out to those who've served in the past, or recruiting new folks, to help us work a variety of stations to help those attending have the best experience. Volunteers are the heart of our rodeo, and we're so grateful for their hard work, dedication, and community spirit. Thank you to all of those who helped us this year. We could not do this without you!!

Some of the most important people at a rodeo are rarely the ones in the spotlight.

While the contestants put it all on the line in the arena, there are dedicated professionals working behind the scenes to keep everyone safe and ensure the rodeo runs smoothly. Their work often goes unnoticed, but it never goes unappreciated.

This year, thanks to the generosity of Montana Knife Company, we had the privilege of recognizing five individuals whose dedication, professionalism, and commitment exemplify the spirit of rodeo.

Casey Elmose – Board President
Austin Wagner – Bullfighter
Jerrod Anderson – Bullfighter
Shane Moran – Pickup Man
Timmy Sparing – Pickup Man

From months of preparation to split-second decisions in the arena, each of these men plays a vital role in making the Three Forks Rodeo possible.

To Montana Knife Company, thank you for helping us recognize the people whose hard work often happens behind the scenes. Your partnership reflects the values that make both Montana craftsmanship and rodeo so special.

Please join us in congratulating these outstanding recipients.
