The Conejo Recreation and Park District is a public service agency created by the people through the use of government structure for the purpose of providing recreational opportunities for all citizens, educating for the proper use of leisure time, and conserving the recreational resources of the area. The District operates several community parks and centers, neighborhood parks, special facilitie

s, special recreation units, and thousands of acres of open space. As an arm of the government, the major responsibility is to serve as a catalyst for community effort by employing the tools and powers of the District, promoting inter-agency cooperation, and constructing and operating facilities which are beyond the reach of individual or private organization effort. The District complements private or commercial recreation efforts and conducts its business in a manner that flows in and around these efforts to provide the community and the individual with a complete set of recreational opportunities.

🛹 SKATE PARK RENOVATION UPDATE!

Now this is progress! 🙌 The first transitions at the Borchard Community Park Skate Park were poured yesterday and today—an exciting and long-awaited milestone in the renovation!

It’s exciting to see the new park taking shape, and there’s plenty more progress ahead. We can’t wait to see skaters back out there enjoying the finished park! 🛹🔥
