What a FUN night! We came, we played, and we brought home the win! 😂👏 A huge thank you to Sawyer Knight for putting on such a fun event, and an extra special shoutout to our new friends from Bay Area Performing Arts! 🎭💙 We loved getting to meet, laugh, and compete with y’all!

For the past few summers, the Arts Council has featured talent from Troy University drama students. One of those exceptional students is Reese Lemaster. Reese joined the cast first in 2024 as Judd in Oklahoma, and at the last minute filled in as the lead role of Curly so that the “show could go on.” In 2025, Reese portrayed Miss Trunchbull in the show Matilda. This summer, he is filling the shoes of the high stakes gambler, Sky Masterson.

In addition to his time on stage, Reese also led the kids’ drama camp earlier this summer and directed an outstanding performance of Guys and Dolls Jr.

The Arts Council would like to thank Reese for sharing his time and talents to our small town theatre. There is still one more chance to see Reese and the rest of the amazing cast in Guys and Dolls TONIGHT at 7:00pm! 🎲🎭
