Flying Bricks Community Band

Join us for the annual Flying Bricks Community Band Independence Day concert on Saturday, June 27th, at 7:00 pm in the Thomasville Civic Center. This years theme is entitled "America the Beautiful" in recognition of the Unites States' sesquicentennial celebration. The program will feature traditional patriotic music. The concert will be in the air conditioned cool of the Civic Center's Bedsole Theatre. It is the perfect prelude to the fireworks later that evening. Admissions are only $10 with those 12 years of age and younger admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. We hope to see you there!

The Flying Bricks Community Band is gearing up for their next concert and is looking for more musicians to join the fun. Whether you’re a current player or someone who hasn’t dusted off their instrument in years, this is a great opportunity to make music with others in our community.

Please join the Flying Brick's Community Band for our next rehearsal on Monday, June 1st at 7:00 pm in the band room in Thomasville. Our next concert is less than a month away so the rehearsal is important. We still need more musicians, most particularly trombonist, tubas and flutes. If you know someone who who make a good member, please invite them. Have a safe weekend and we hope to see you Monday night!
