A pufferfish’s teeth never stop growing, so if they don’t wear them down naturally by eating hard-shelled foods, they can become overgrown and make it difficult to eat.

It was a beautiful day for a trout release at Stone Mountain State Park! Thankful for our partners at Trout Unlimited Blue Ridge Chapter for another great year. TU volunteers spoke on the importance of clean, cool streams and taught fly fishing techniques. Thanks to Duke Energy forestry experts for their talks on responsible management near streams. Last but not least, North Carolina State Parks and Recreation Rangers guided students on a stream invertebrate survey where we found lots of biodiversity!
