We opened our doors last Monday for our 20th year of To The Pointe, and honestly… we’re still trying to wrap our heads around that. 🥹🩷💚

TWENTY YEARS.

What started as a dream all those years ago has brought us so many memories, friendships, laughs, challenges, and the sweetest kids and families we could have ever imagined being a part of our lives.

We finished our first week of year 20, and our hearts are just so full. We are incredibly grateful that after 20 years, we still get to do what we love and share it with all of you.

Here’s to the memories behind us, the ones we’re making now, and everything still ahead. 🩰✨ Here’s to To The Pointe Academy of Dance!

✨ More Than a Dance Class… It’s a Foundation for Learning. ✨

Our Sparkle Steps program wasn’t pulled from a box or purchased online, it was thoughtfully created by Nikki and Allison through years of teaching, continuing education, and a passion for early childhood development.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve continued to learn, grow, and invest in dance education so we can give our youngest dancers the very best start.

In every Sparkle Steps class, little ones are building:
💖 Confidence
💖Musicality and rhythm
💖Coordination and balance
💖Social skills
💖Creativity and imagination
💖Age-appropriate dance fundamentals

Most importantly, they learn to love coming to dance each week.

Our goal has always been bigger than teaching steps, we’re helping children develop a lifelong love for movement while creating a positive first classroom experience.

Sparkle Steps is designed for dancers ages 2–4, and we’d love to welcome your little one into our dance family this season! 💕

Classes begin August 31.

Next year we celebrate 20 years of dancing, growing, and pouring into so many dancers in our community.

For 20 years, we’ve had the honor of teaching tiny two-year-olds take their very first steps in ballet shoes, watching shy preschoolers find their confidence, and seeing students grow into strong, disciplined, beautiful dancers. That’s two decades of experience, love, patience, and passion inside our studio walls.

We are so proud of the foundation we’ve built and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Even after 20 years, we continue our education, attend trainings, and stay current so we can offer the very best instruction in creative movement, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and acrobatic arts. Your children deserve teachers who never stop learning.

Our dancer Charlie took a road trip to Chicago to compete in the Dupree Dance Nationals Finals Competition! She kicked off her Finals week competing her solo “Mephisto’s Lullaby” where she received a special Judges award for Professionalism and a Double Platinum adjudication! Charlie was also selected to be featured in 3 sections of the company’s Opening Number at the Finals Gala!
