We went up to the Silver Spur race yesterday so Ty could make a run before Junior High rodeo starts next weekend. Her and Amy won the open poles ❤️

We were going to have a foal out of the same mare line as Amy for sale this year, but the day it was born Tylee said "No way, that one is staying here"!

Yesterday we had planned to go up the mountain and move cows but God gave us some much needed moisture, so we made a change of plans! Floated a bunch of teeth, Decker worked his yearling filly, and Taryn figured out how to jump on ba****ck from the ground.

Haven't been saddled in 5 years? No problem!

Flit Dr Charge (Doc) has been on stud duty only since an injury in 2021 put him on the sidelines. Tylee decided he looked just fine when we pulled him out of the mares this year so it's off to the breakaway pen for these two!

We're sure proud of our girls and their PC Wades Frost horses 😊.

Both Tylee and Taryn ran their personal best times in the Thermopolis indoor arena yesterday.

Tylee is riding DCR Twisten Kitten (Stevie) by PC Wades Frost and out of Lanilita.

Taryn is riding DCR Mercedes Rose (Mercedes) by PC Wades Frost and out of Moons Red Rose.

Tylee placed 3rd in the open 1D and 2nd in the youth 1D. Taryn won the peewee.

I'm a little behind on getting pictures up from the last couple weeks. The kids finished their WJRA season last weekend, then we branded some more calves, went to the Worland Youth Rodeo, clipped show animals and now we're at fair for the week! The kids showed lambs yesterday and had a great day. Steers will be tomorrow night!
