September 29, 2021 (Bakersfield, CA.) - Riding Racing Youth Development (RRYD) and Feld Entertainment are proud to announce a special invitation to the class champions of the AMA California State Shootout presented by Motul (www.CalStateMX.com) at Kern County Raceway Park (KCRP) in Bakersfield on December 28, 2021, through January 1, 2022.
The annual start of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Angel Stadium (A1) in Anaheim, California, is the most anticipated dirt bike event on the calendar. With the world’s attention on the Golden State, it is a perfect opportunity to bring that attention to the amateur motocross racers of the world. Only five days prior to A1, the Cal State Shootout will be wrapping up two hours north of Anaheim at KCRP.
“We are excited to offer the class champions of the AMA California State Shootout a day they will never forget,” said Mike Muye of Feld Ent. “Anaheim 1 is different than any other round for the pro riders, and we want to give class champions and their families an exclusive track walk of what the riders will be competing on.”
Overall class champions will receive an invitation to attend Anaheim 1 on Friday, January 7, 2022. Riders and their immediate family will enjoy VIP access normally only offered to media and teams to witness the pro rider on track. Once the pro riders have completed their riding, all the riders of the Shootout will receive guided access to the hallowed ground.
As a side note, if COVID protocols were to restrict access, Feld reserves the right to forego any public participation and the Champions Track Walk will have to be canceled. As the protocol stands today, this is not the case.
To help avoid the mad rush to buy Christmas gifts, EARLY REGISTRATION for the AMA California State Shootout will open on Friday, October 1st. Register whenever you like. Maybe you can choose to register for Supercross in October and Motocross in November before Christmas vacations start in December.
