My mission is to inspire you to dance, move and nurture your body, and love yourself...just the way you are, no matter how old you are! The Move & Groove class is catered to the needs of older adults and those with limited mobility. As your facilitator, it is my job to guide you through simple dance movements, encourage you to feel great in your body, and help you connect to yourself and others th
rough music and movement. I believe that there is no right or wrong way to dance or move your body...your way is the right way! In fact, it's impossible to get it wrong. This is not a follow the leader class. There is no complicated choreography to follow, and it doesn't matter if you're on your left or right foot. For each song, I will give you very simple moves or a rhythm pattern and you get to dance and express it in your own unique way, with your own style and personality, in a way that feels good in YOUR body. You can modify any movement, and you control the intensity. You can even do it sitting down if needed. The whole class can be a seated experience. If you can move, you can groove!
