So this is definitely my favourite aquarium plant the red tiger lotus (Nymphaea Zenkeri) they are an easy plant that makes a beautiful pop of colour and can be pruned to grow in different styles. It's always the surprise fish that become your favorites in this hobby! I got my original longnose hawkfish for a birthday present last year. Aaaand a few months later a baby one showed up at my local Petco and after researching for a few weeks on compatibility I brought her home. These fish are interesting in that they all start as females and when they've become a bonded pair the larger one will become a dimorphic male! I really lucked out on these guys bonding immediately and they are a joy to watch. 🖤

A lot of plants can grow out of aquariums, it looks beautiful while also helping to filter the water. The golden pothos are definitely the most popular 'riparium' plant but you can get creative! Excited to announce we will be doing local pickups of plants and ramshorn snails in The Woodlands, TX area. Snails will be 10 for $10, and plants will be priced at $5 a species but I will offer competitive pricing discounts on large combo orders.

🌱 Did you know, African dwarf frogs are fish safe and make great additions to Betta tanks due to their docile nature and amusing antics. Not to be confused for their brethren the clawed frogs, which will 100% eat your fish. They sing at night and enjoy resting on plants and exploring caves.
