Arjay, my Lego enthusiast, wanted to display his Taj Mahal in a way where it could be admired better. At around the same time I came across works and I fell in love with one of his pieces. I asked him if I had his permission to make one similar to his side table. He responded saying not only do I have his blessings, he even asked me how he could help! I was moved by his generosity and inspired by his creativity. As I started on this looong project I was reflecting on all the pieces of creativity that went into it - from the original Taj Mahal to the Lego replica to the addition of the extra strip lights we had laying around to the chandelier thats lighting the Taj from the outside. I got plenty of help from my sons, husband, friends at and in the end I think we, collectively as a bunch of artists, achieved an excellent composition for the Taj to be the object of admiration that it deserves.
