Tournament Bowlers,

After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the end of the year tournament scheduled for August 30, 2025.

We failed to realize that the end of the year tournament was scheduled on the Labor Day weekend.

As you know, we take $5 per entry at each monthly tournament to use as added prize money for the end of the year tournament. After discussions about improvements to our regular monthly tournaments, we want to stop doing this and drop the end of the year tournament. We would rather use that $5 per entry in the prize fund of the monthly tournament itself.

Taken together, this feels like the right time to make the change. We have collected $3,085 to date for the end of the year tournament. We will add $500 to the prize fund of each of the upcoming monthly tournaments starting with June's tournament. This added money will continue monthly until all of the end of the year funds have been utilized. This will be noted on the flier for the tournament and in our tournament summaries (Facebook and email). We will keep you all informed until the funds collected have been returned to the bowlers.

Congratulations to our winner today, Nam Dang, who took home the $300 first prize.
We had 56 entries today for our 9th senior shootout of the new season. Our free ball raffle donated by Storm Bowling Products was a ball of choice, won by Randy Jacques. We raffled off another ball of choice from Storm products, which was won by Rich Brooks. Congrats to Darryl Bennett for winning our “all in game 3 high game pot” with a nice 290 game for $320. Our cut was 617 in the younger division, 610 in the 70+/ladies division. We added $280 toward our year end prize fund. Our cumulative total for year end added prize money is now $3085. Thanks to our sponsor, Storm Bowling Products, for the balls. Thanks to Tim Richardson for donating ball cups to our top 5 bowlers. Thanks to Tony Campagna, and all the helpful staff at Fiesta Bowl Bowlero. Thanks to all who came out and bowled today. Our next monthly shootout will be Saturday, June 21, 2025.

Join us on Thursday evening May 8th at Fiesta Bowl in The Villages for a 5-game sweeper on the PBA Webb 37 (2025) oil pattern. This pattern will be used during the PBA50 The Villages Classic. The sweeper is open to all bowlers age 50 and up. See the flier below for additional information.

We had 83 entries today for our 8th senior shootout of the new season. Our free ball raffle donated by Storm Bowling Products was a ball of choice, won by Fred Taylor. We raffled off another ball of choice from Storm products, which was won by Tim Gilbert. Congrats to Julian Herradon for winning our “all in game 3 high game pot” with a nice 279 game for $470. Our cut was 660 in the younger division, 636 in the 70+/ladies division and 601 in our 80+. We added $415 toward our year end prize fund. Our cumulative total for year end added prize money is now $2805.
