Students 12 - 30 can be part of this Leo Club but it is primarily structured to be used by students in Athens High School located in The Plains, Ohio

The verdict is in. Clay will not drain water. Solution put about 2 foot of 40% sand and 60% mulch in the bottom and raise the drain pipe system about one foot with bank run gravel at the end that will be under the garden. Planting to take place about May 24th if the new design works out OK. If you didn't get to see the first attempt after last weekends rain, here is a "before" shot. Hopefully the "after" shot will be more garden-like. Yes there is about 2 feet of water in that pretty hole. 🎏☔️🌷🌹🌷🌻🌷

Great community service project!!!

We LIONS are cleaning out the garage at the park on May 11. That is if we can even get inside to get started. Everyone (not just current Lions) are welcome. Could turn into a big yard sale (give away). We are also going to paint, install bulletin boards in the meeting/party room, and many other fun and educational projects. Come out and support you community park. We plan to start around 9 am.

This is sort of right in the middle of AHS graduation so you may be a little busy but we would love to have you if you are available.

This is The Plains Community Park by the way. All Athens area students, Lions, and or just friends are still invited.
