With the death of BRONX venues becoming an epidemic plague in the borough, done purposely by Capitalist who aimed to profit by gentrifying the area, it was left to the ARTIST and MUSICIANS to keep the CULTURE,the ESSENCE, the LIFE of the BRONX and all the fruits she bears ALIVE.Not just from those who wish to profit off of the backs of the ETHNIC CULTURE Bronx has spun, but from the gentrifyers and Capitalist who wish to appropriate OUR IDENTITY. Other Artist and groups began to form hosting their own SHOWS, PARTIES and FESTIVALS mimicking others who have come before them, and hopefully teaching those behind them to keep the SPARK ALIVE. As artist struggle to feed the idea; groups, collectives, and companies began to form as more sources for their individual platforms. Ashe's Show House has been hosting BackYard Shows for the past seven years, hopefully we will reach a decade of Community, Spirit, and Creativity. As a "HAVEN" for Musicians and artist alike, The Show House has been dedicated to being a safe place a second home , where they can be free to socialize, mosh, and network, and showcase talents of all genres to hardcore, metal, rock,to acoustic, to Hip Hop and R&B
Ashe is an ALLY to the LGBTQ community, and does not tolerate hate, gang violence, racism or bigotry of any kind. All offenders will be permanently banned from the location, and from future events.
