One of my much-appreciated customers asked me to make a centerpiece for her beautiful granddaughter’s amazing 4th birthday. It was mermaid-themed, so I used a color changing paint on a vase that changed from blue, green and purple in the light and filled with our pastel flowers. Included a small bag of sand for the saucer as well as seashells to set on top before the party. I love this picture that she posted!

Oh how I love this variety of nigella! Very happy to see this new batch beginning to bloom. I’ll be popping them, along with many other beautiful flowers, into subscription bouquets next week as well as into bouquet & arrangement orders. Hoping to have more blooming today to bring to the market tomorrow too. ❤️❤️

Just picked another dahlia plus bells of Ireland, stock in white, peach, yellow, light & dark pink , two varieties of feverfew, dianthus and forget-me-nots. Oh it smells soooo good!!!❤️

Subscription bouquets will be going out next week!
Fancy tulips for April, Peony bouquets for May, and now this month will be a little bit of everything. Some of the flowers that will be in your June Petal Ridge subscription bouquet: roses, zinnias, gladiolus, stock, larkspur or delphinium, feverfew, forget me nots, bachelor buttons, Veronica, verbena, echinacea, calendula, dianthus, statice,plus LOTS of fresh lavender!

1st Cafe au Lait dahlia this season, Yay!

It has a couple bites on it, so not one I would sell, but still nice to enjoy myself. It’s really tall!
I cut deep and accidentally cut off another stem with a bud. Oh well. It will have a lot of branches soon so it’s okay. Not the first mistake I’ve made and won’t be the last. 🤣

It seems a bit early, but I looked back at pictures from last year & the year before and had a lot more dahlias blooming in June. The up and down weather put them a bit behind this year, but they’ll all be doing well soon! 💕
