Senior Spotlight: Ethan Collinsworth
Ethan Collinsworth has been an invaluable part of TTC for all four years of his high school career. Throughout his time with the program, he has taken on an impressive range of roles, including Wadsworth in Clue, Ratchett in Murder on the Orient Express, Templeton in Charlotte’s Web, Snipes in Tarzan, Lloyd in Noises Off, Curley in Of Mice and Men, Bill Slank in Peter and the Starcatcher, Dance Captain for Hadestown, and Roat in Wait Until Dark. He also appeared in the ensemble of Chicago and has consistently brought energy, dedication, and professionalism to every production.
When he’s not on stage, Ethan is always willing to step in wherever help is needed. From working with Morris Elementary to assisting behind the scenes, he has been a dependable and positive presence throughout his years at TTC.
This year, Ethan earned a Superior rating for his performance of “Epiphany” from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and will be taking that piece to Nationals at the end of June.
Outside of theatre, Ethan was a member of The Tiger Band for many years.
This fall, he will attend the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a degree in Theatre Performance.
