Silvermoon Theatre (formerly Silvermoon Children's Theatre) operates out of the Historic Silvermoon on Broad in downtown Texarkana. We typically do at least 3 MainStage shows a year, as well as offer camps in the summer and classes in the fall and spring semesters. Silvermoon Theatre is the brain child of Meredith Farren and Susannah Linnett, daughters of Silvermoon proprietors, Josh & Diana Morri
ss. They direct and guide Silvermoon Theatre. Farren, Graduate of Harding University with a BA in interior design, is the technical design director or Company Manager Plus and main organizational guru. Linnett, graduate of Baylor University with a BFA in Theatre Performance, is our Executive Director. "We are so excited to offer families this opportunity. We strive to produce fun & excellent theatre. The Silvermoon is a beautifully restored, intimate space. It's a great place to learn how to be onstage and a pleasant place to see theatre!" Linnett explains. SCT plans to cast area children and adults in all of their shows. Watch for upcoming announcements about auditions.
