Feature Friday: Anshika✨

This week's Feature Friday highlights Anshika, a Nursing major who serves as a Station Attendant at Campus Recreation. In her role, Anshika helps maintain a welcoming environment for members while ensuring they have a positive experience at the SRC.

One of Anshika's favorite things about summer is enjoying the long sunny days and relaxing evenings spent with friends and family. While she is not completing a summer internship this year, she enjoys making the most of the season by spending time outdoors and appreciating the warm weather.

When summer arrives, Anshika loves being outside. One of her favorite hobbies is going on evening walks and spending time outdoors whenever she can. She also enjoys quiet moments where she can relax and read a good book.

Fun fact: Anshika can spend hours listening to music and never gets bored. Music is one of her favorite ways to relax and unwind during the summer.

Whether she's helping members at the SRC, enjoying an evening walk, or getting lost in a good book, Anshika brings a friendly and positive energy to those around her.

We're grateful to have Anshika as part of the Campus Recreation team and appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication she brings to her role each day.

Feature Friday: Kaetlyn Bell✨

This week's Feature Friday highlights Kaetlyn Bell, a junior majoring in Elementary Education. Kaetlyn serves as both a Membership Services Representative and a Building Supervisor at Campus Recreation, where she helps create a positive experience for members while supporting the daily operations of the SRC.

One of Kaetlyn's favorite things about working at the SRC during the summer is that it is a little less chaotic than during the school year, allowing her to connect with members and coworkers in a more relaxed environment. While she is not completing a summer internship this year, she stays busy enjoying everything the season has to offer.

When summer arrives, Kaetlyn loves having extra time to spend with friends and family. She especially enjoys swimming, tanning, and making the most of sunny days outdoors, although she occasionally enjoys some downtime indoors depending on her plans.

Fun fact: Kaetlyn also works as a camp counselor for the Terre Haute Parks Department during the summer, where she helps create fun and memorable experiences for local youth.

Whether she's welcoming members at the SRC, supervising facility operations, or working with campers during the summer, Kaetlyn brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to everything she does.

Feature Friday: Jaismeen Kaur✨

This week’s Feature Friday highlights Jaismeen Kaur, a first-year master’s student in Kinesiology and a Graduate Assistant for Membership Services at Campus Recreation. Originally from India, Jaismeen enjoys being part of a welcoming environment where she can interact with students and members from different backgrounds every day.

Along with working at Campus Recreation, Jaismeen also works at ATI Physical Therapy as an Operations Support Specialist, gaining valuable experience in the healthcare and rehabilitation field while preparing for her future career goals. Her favorite part about working at the SRC is getting to meet new people and create positive experiences for members throughout their visits.

Outside of work and school, Jaismeen enjoys spending time with friends, especially during summer evenings, and loves exploring new food spots around town. Fun fact: she can never say no to food or new restaurants!

If Jaismeen could give her younger self one piece of advice, it would be: “Trust the process and keep believing in yourself.” Her dream career is to work in the patient care, rehabilitation and sports performance field, helping people improve their health and quality of life.

During the summer, you’ll most likely find Jaismeen staying indoors during the hotter parts of the day, then heading out in the evenings to relax and spend time with friends.

We appreciate Jaismeen’s positivity, dedication, and the welcoming energy she brings to Campus Recreation!
