From the Farmers Market to Your Plate!

Great food starts with great ingredients, and we're excited to bring a little local flavor to An Evening of Mushrooms at The Ohio Building!

We're partnering with Fungus Among Us, a vendor at the Downtown Terre Haute Farmers Market, whose mushrooms will be featured in three of our five courses for this special dining experience.

We love opportunities to celebrate local vendors and incorporate their products into creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes. We can't wait for you to experience what our culinary team has in store!

A little mystery from The Ohio Building…

It is believed that our Billiard Room was once a speakeasy during the Prohibition era.

According to the story, alcohol was brought up the back stairway—once located in what is now the elevator hallway—and passed through the small door that still remains on the north wall of the Billiard Room.

Today, that little door is a reminder of a very different time in The Ohio Building’s history.
