The WVAG was founded in 1980 by Florence & Norman Ratliff to bring together those in the community interested in the creation and appreciation of art, and to encourage fellowship through discussion and the sharing of knowledge. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted, with members showing up starting at 6pm, meeting officially begins at 6:30.

🐝 BEE A PART OF 250!

Calling all young artists! Help us celebrate America’s 250th birthday and our wonderful hometown with a creative poster design!

Your poster should bring together bee-inspired elements 🐝, America’s 250th anniversary, and what you think makes Paris, Illinois, special. Think honeybees, the Honeybee Festival, local landmarks, community traditions, our town, stars & stripes, celebrations—or come up with something totally your own!

There are four age groups:
🐝 Preschool & Kindergarten
🐝 1st–4th Grade
🐝 5th–8th Grade
🐝 9th–12th Grade
