Meet our publicity chair, ME .labarr !!

🌟hey y'all! my name is maggie and i am the publicity chair for the dance co this year! i'm a sophomore chemical engineering major from marion, in. i also am involved in tri delta, aiche, and will be a sophomore advisor in mees hall! i started dance when i was 7 and have done mostly tap since then. once i joined the dance co, i have been able to learn and be apart of many other dance styles, such as poms and lyrical! for this year, i can't wait for the homecoming dances and meeting our new members!🌟

Meet our treasurer, !!

🌟Hi! I’m Aron, and I will be the treasurer of Rose-Hulman Dance Company for the 22’-23’ season. This year I am a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from dance company, on campus I am an RA, and I’m also involved with the Rose drama club, chamber choir, and choir! I am so excited for this upcoming year, especially for the new musical theatre pieces we will be incorporating into dance company this year!🌟

Meet our secretary,

🌟Hi everyone! I’m Phoebe and I’m the secretary of Dance Company this year. I am a sophomore chemical engineering major from Bicknell, IN. I started dance when I was 5 years old when it was just ballet. Since then, I’ve tried a variety of styles including tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and my fav, musical theater. Along with Dance Co, I am a member of the Softball Team here at Rose. I’m looking forward to becoming more involved in Dance Co and meeting our new members!!🌟

Meet our vice president, .20 !

🌟hi everyone, i’m maggie! i’m so excited to be the vice president for dance company this year!! i am a junior biomedical engineering major, the ra on lakeside 1, and a member of chi omega. i started doing ballet and irish dance when i was 3, but have definitely been branching out since joining freshman year. this year, i took on choreographing our pom dance for homecoming, and while its been kind of a challenge, im confident we’ll bring the hype at the pep rally!! i’m so so excited for this next year and looking forward to meeting all of our new members!🌟

Meet our president, .kelly18 !

🌟Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Kelly and I’m the President of Dance Company this year. I am from Naperville, IL and I started dancing when I was 4 years old. I grew up training to become a professional ballerina while also doing contemporary, lyrical, and jazz on the side. Last year I had the pleasure to learn kpop and hope to incorporate more fun styles into Dance Co moving forward. I was an SA on BSB3 last year and am the former Secretary of Dance Co. I hope to make Dance Co an inclusive place for everyone regardless of dance experience and I am really excited to meet everyone in the fall!🌟

IMPORTANT INFO

If you have any interest in joining our group, please come to our "try-outs" on Sunday September 13th in Hatfield Hall! ALL ARE WELCOME!
*Beginners* please arrive between 1:45 and 2pm to start warmups, please wear comfortable clothes and bring socks if you do not have dance shoes.
*Experienced dancers* please arrive between 3:15 and 3:30 to start warmups. Bring jazz, ballet, or half-shoes, we will not be doing tap or pointe that day.
