The Terre Haute Academy of Dance Performance Ensemble is composed of dancers who range in age from 9-17 years and attend two technique classes per week here at the studio -- one of which must be ballet -- as well as weekly rehearsals to prepare our programs. Thank you to all who came to the extra parking lot practice yesterday! Hopefully this Saturday will be much warmer. On Saturday please wear your red leotard, black jazz pants, orange Cinderella t shirt, THAD jacket , THAD head band and white shoes. Please let us know if you need a t shirt!

Hey PE! Don't forget practice this evening at 5:00. You don't have to wear your uniform, but you should probably wear the tennis shoes you are planning to wear on Saturday just to get the feel of dancing in them. See you there!

Special Rehearsal for ISU Parade!

If you are in town, the performance ensemble will be meeting in the old K-mart parking lot at 5:00 on October 17, 2022 to give the dancers a chance to practice moving out for the ISU parade dance. Please arrive by 4:45 so we can get started promptly. Rehearsal should be no more than one hour and possibly less. Hope you can make it!

Hello dancers! The St. Patrick's Day Parade has been MOVED to March 19 so the THAD Performance Ensemble will not have to dance in the cold tomorrow. Hooray! Regular classes will be in session at Academy of Dance Saturday March 12 including pointe class. Stay warm!

Hello friends! Come celebrate the holidays with the THAD performance ensembles. We will be performing our Christmas show at the studio on three different days this year and are hoping to have a full and appreciate audience at the studio. We will also be dancing in the Christmas Parade in downtown Terre Haute.

Performance Ensemble Revised Holiday Schedule 2020 Due the increase in Covid-19 cases we have revised our schedule. We are canceling the studio audience performances that were originally scheduled. Instead we are going to record the show on Dec. 13th with no audience and post it on our YouTube page....

We are so sorry, dancers! The SMWC Light Your Way Parade has been cancelled. We are still planning to perform our virtual Holiday Show though, so you will still have a chance to show off your wonderful skills! Our practice and performance schedule at this point remain the same.
