It’s finally here: Today at noon EDT the auction to help the people of Lahaina, who have lost everything in that horrible fire, is starting. About 1000 paintings, donated by some of your favorite contemporary artists, one of them being me, will be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting those who are suffering in the aftermath of the fire. My latest painting now complete is called Destin Sunset II, bc actually years ago I painted a similar scene from my own photos and since then my work has improved somewhat .. so the original Destin sunset is underneath this painting .. if I can find a photo, I’ll post it as well.
