On April 25th, eight THS Drama students attended the Improv Connections festival at Pioneer Valley High School in High School. Attending multiple workshops with local professionals, they learned how to create a character, short and long form improvisation skills, musical improv, and so much more!

We need your help!
Templeton Drama Boosters will be sharing with the TUSD School Board and Administration at their board meeting on Thursday May 14th about what we do as a School Connected Organization and why we think drama programs are so important for our schools.

Will you please share your own opinion about our program, what keeps you coming back, and why YOU think it’s important that the school board and administration continue to support the arts? Many of their recent meetings have been jam packed with discussions about expanding athletics and building new facilities. Let’s remind the School Board that we already have a premier facility and a steadfast program filled with dedicated students, staff, and families.

Congratulations to the TMS Drama Cast, Directors Diego Porras and William Wallace and Supervisor Sarah Botts for their recent musical production “The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree!” We are so proud of the work you are doing to instill confidence, joy, teamwork, and empathy in the middle school students at TMS and the strength you are adding to the performing arts program in our district as a whole. Your hard work and dedication to drama is a gift to our entire community. Bravo!!!!
