Unfortunately I just canceled my only wedding in 2025. I stopped booking in May when they diagnosed me with AML Leukemia.

I have huge plans to dust off my speakers and hear a few I do's later in the year 2025 if the good Lord is willing.
I have been honored doing weddings now for 18 yrs. Just celebrated my 1k mark earlier this year in 2024.

They never get old. I enjoy every single wedding that I have the privilege of being apart of.

My favorite part of weddings is the 5yr mark. Watching your love grow and witnessing on Facebook babies being born, dawgs being adopted, new career opportunities etc.

Thank you all for your loving friendship and prayers. Have full Faith in 2025 I will be healed of this Cancer. God has been so good to me and my wife of 30 years, Tracie. I pray that you and your spouse have a marriage like mine. My baby won me over with a chic fil-a sandwich back in 1993. We both worked at Walmart. We was only 19 and married at 20. We are one person. I don't even know who I am without her. God blessed us with 2 wonderful successful Godly children that both have families of their own. We have 4 of the most beautiful grand-girls in the World. I am one super blessed Poppy.

If you are one of the couples I had to cancel since May of 2024, I am again truly sorry and glad you found a replacement and still had the wedding of your dreams.

Attention couples that are on schedule for 2024-2025

Unfortunately I went to ER on Monday May 20th with chest issues. By Wed I am diagnosed with acute myeloid Leukemia.

I will be at Emory fighting for next 45 days. I will still be on chemo until Nov if no complications.

Unfortunately with this Cancer I will not be able to be your wedding DJ. First I want to say how sorry and disappointed I am. Wanted to send this text first so I want hear the disappointment cause this breaks my heart.

I will be refunding the deposit but I ask for a little time (few months) since this has crushed us financially. I will make sure its paid though or I would not bring this up. This can change depending on if we get help.

I think 2025 dates are safe but you have options to cancel due to my sickness.
