- Real Deal Poker social club will be opening in the next 3 months in the Ace Plaza in Temple. (next to the old bingo hall on the corner of I35 and Adams Ave).
We will be opening with 12 - 15 tables and the room will be run with a real casino management team and dealers who are casino trained. So if you like to play poker in a real poker room with a casino poker trained staff, keep your eyes out for future announcements!
*** We will be soon looking for people who would love to become poker dealers. We will be opening a dealer school to teach you how to deal poker as if you were dealing in professional card room in Las Vegas or Atlantic City... When you are done with the class you will be able to go anywhere in the country and pass an audition for a poker dealer. - Procedure, and game protection will be paramount in the class. Even though Texas card rooms operate under "social club" status, you will be trained as if you were going to work in Vegas...
Dealers who wish to stay in the Temple area will have first shot at working at "Real Deal".
For those who know NOTHING about poker, do not worry, YOU DONT NEED TO! You will be trained from A to Z...
And for those who don't know how much poker dealers make in Texas, (the dealers in some rooms make anywhere from $200 - $500 a day CASH) (you make your money on the tips, just like a bartender or waitress). - We can also show proof of how much a dealer makes from rooms outside of Texas.
Poker dealing is not for everyone, if you don't like interaction with people all day long (not a people person), or don't have a thick skin, this isn't for you... But if you want to "play cards all day", and get paid well to do so, then this may be for you!
We will be opening a dealer class and the cost will be $1500. - The class will be 6 weeks long. 4 hours a day, there will be 2 sessions, a day class and a night class, so which ever is more convenient for you, we will work with you. - When you are done with the class you will be able to walk into ANY POKER ROOM IN THE COUNTRY AND PASS AN AUDITION. - Plus we have connections to poker rooms and will be able to get you an audition if they are currently hiring.
