Age, ADD, and awesomeness:

I am running a tight personal schedule with alarm reminders for everything. I am learning to live on a 5 hour sleep cycle with an added pre-work nap of 2 hours on work nights.

It is fortunate that I work an overnight job that allows certain personal business to be done such as writing, sketching, and a Tai Chi workout between duties. As long as I am vigilant and attentive to my 10 hour schedule that is broken into 30 minute events.

I must be disciplined and refuse to deviate from the schedule. When not on shift, I will follow the same pattern and maintain the same schedule, (Except on weekends with gigs and shows.)

Otherwise, a strict self-schedule must be the way. It won't be easy. And I expect to have to combat the natural phlegmatic tendencies of ADD. But I will do so without chemicals. I am on natural herbs and supplements. I am monitoring diet.

Now, I just have some teeth to fix and general health checkups barring injury or illness.

54 does not have to be old.

Nostalgia is a strange emotional state. I am currently watching the dvd collection of the old Buck Roger's in the 25th Century TV show. I was a huge fan of Gil Gherard and, naturally, had an emerging puberty crush on Erin Gray.

But, aside from that it was state of the art in its day. It was well written in general, despite the usual TV serial plot holes left In for storytelling convenience. Weird to think all my idols and crushes are either gone or in their 80s. I miss being a kid watching it new. It still fills my geek heart with joy.

Domestic Terrorism: Noun phrase, the committing of terrorist acts in the perpetrator's own country against their fellow citizens. "domestic terrorism plagued the country during a time of high political tensions."

(NOR IS IT EVEN CLOSE TO:)

Vandalism, noun, action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. "an act of mindless vandalism."

THE FIRST IS A LEGAL, ORGANIZED, LAWFUL FORM OF CIVIL PROTEST. THE LATTER TWO ARE IN FACT CRIMES.
