Memories Of Snow - Acrylic of Canvas 8x10.... I was asked to do a painting of a childhood home and to paint it as if it was snowing.

I have never tackled snow before and all I had to go off was Google Maps images. As you can see, the photos were taken on a nice sunny day. No white stuff whatsoever.

I was so nervous even up to the last weekend, because I didn't want to ruin the painting, but I did my research, found the perfect brush and practiced on a cardboard box, before I added the snow.

To my utter delight, it turned out really well. It actually looks like it is snowing, proving yet again, just because you haven't done something before, doesn't mean you can't do it.

"The Bricks of Brooklyn" 8x10 acrylic on canvas.

This was done as a Christmas Present and as a thank you for making a dream trip come true.

This painting had the most bricks I've ever painted and a lot of fun details. I also liked the depth created behind the fence.

It was a lot of work, but I'm really please with how it turned out 😃

Casper waves hello to the neighbors - Practical Art: House paint on wood board 20x19.

During Hurricanes or really bad rain storms, if I don't put this board up, the rain sometimes gets in through the window vent to the attic, which is not good, so that board is now staying up permanently. (New modern vents were put into the roof when it was replaced a couple of years ago)

But just because the board is staying up, doesn't mean it has to be boring. I've got Iron Giant on the garage, Pokemon on the side of the house, why not have a ghost in the attic? Lol

Forever Princess - Acrylic on Canvas 16x20. Mindy wanted a house portrait of her parents house for a Christmas gift and wanted to include some of their pets in the painting. Sadly one of the dogs, Princess, had died earlier that year, so it was to serve as a memorial of her as well.

This was an awesome house to paint, lots of color, lots of plant life. The two giant trees were fun to do and I enjoyed adding all the details. I think it's safe to say from her comments, included here, that her Mom loved her gift.

"No Streetview" Acrylic on canvas 8x10. Megan wanted a painting of her Brother's house for a Christmas present. It is called No Streetview because when I Googled it, his house was in such a rural spot that even google maps had not gone down his street. Love capturing all the little details like the cameras and the windchime. The gravel is hundreds and hundreds of tiny dots and each blade of grass was painted individually :)

"Meant For Each Other" Acrylic on canvas 16x20. This was done for a wedding present for a happy couple who loves The Creature From The Black Lagoon. This was a fun piece to do with lots of littles challenges and personal details. Really pleased with how it turned out, love doing paintings with texture that you can feel. :)

House number 2 - "The house near the trains" named because the house is located in Parrish Florida, which if you've been there you'll know there is nothing there but the train museum lol.

Mother's day gift for Desiree... "Whose yard is it anyway?" 45"x27" exterior house paint... I can't believe it, I actually started and finished a painting in one day? I can't remember the last time that happened. This Portrait painting/mural of both our dogs :)
