Sunday Dance SUNDAYs 10:30am-12:15 pm 931 E Elliot Rd, Tempe. No steps to learn, just you creating a dance all your own. Embodiment is an ongoing practice.

We are dancing in-person at NRG Ballroom in Tempe every Sunday 10:30 am - 12:15 pm. Pre-registration by prepaying (Venmo or PayPal) is helpful and we do accept walk-ins. The first Sunday of the month Sunday Dance will be only $10.00- 30.00
All other weeks will be a $20.00 - $30.00 sliding scale. For those who can pay $30.00, we thank you, and we gratefully accept all payments from $20.00 - $30.00

Sunday Dance is an embodiment practice for adults (18 and over) only. Each week we gather beginning with a warm up, then dance, sweat and pray with the simple yet profound intention to be alive and present in our bodies with our tribe and allow all expression of the body, heart, mind and spirit to be expressed through sacred movement. Each class is uniquely different, some days we may drop blissfully into trance states on others we may wade through the ambrosia of our human condition. The concept is to embody all of our humanity. Give yourself a few sessions before you create conclusions. Details:

we begin at 10:30, doors close at 10:45

No previous dance experience is necessary.
• Newcomers are always welcome.
• Wear loose comfortable clothes and layers are recommended.
• Wear a soft shoe or barefoot - no socks on the dance floor.
• Bring a bottle of water.
• Enter the studio in silence.
•Refrain from wearing heavy fragrance or jewelry.
• No gum. This is a drug and alcohol free zone - DANCE SOBER

Hello Sunday Dancers! Message from Nina ❤️

After a few weeks away, I’m returning with deep gratitude to this dance community. I’ve missed the rhythm, the collective energy, and the way movement brings us together. During my visit with family and friends, this huge old oak tree was my anchor and guide—a steady presence reminding me of connection and renewal. As many of you know, I have a deep connection with trees, and coming back here feels a bit like returning to my roots.

And, since its father's day we'll be offering a particularly grounding and drummy set to help move all the ways the concept of "father" might occupy your being. We are a growing, evolving community. Due to the increased costs of keeping this weekly practice alive we are experimenting with new pricing systems.

The first Sunday of the month Sunday Dance will be only $10.00!

All other weeks will be a $20.00 - $30.00 sliding scale. For those who can pay $30.00, we thank you, and we gratefully accept all payments from $20.00 - $30.00

Our vision is that we can continue to offer our inspirational weekly sessions without raising class fees across the board.
